plus she’s literally playing great at middle. No reason to lose the production there and I doubt she’s any better on the right than Jovana is even tho Jovana is old and bad now lol exactly that. Keep the best player in her best role. And even Merve was doing well enough that the position wasnt a black hole in Jovana’s absence. One more wing spiker would be a huge help though. Actually, it was a big black whole in several matches before Merve found her rhythm (and maybe some confidence)... even then, stat-wise, in most of the matches, she was getting less points than the middles despite being out there for the whole match. She had some good moments, but not nearly good enough to not consider Maglio on the right and Begum in the middle imo. Beskitas needs an opposite (starter or backup?) for the next half of the season unless Brakocevic can stay healthy. |

Kuzeyboru v Ecza was a fantastic game. In the end Kuzey didnt have enough firepower to close out the last 2 sets.
Lazareva played better than ive ever seen her.
On the other side, Elif played a great game.

Bosetti and Zehra got rested today, Frantti is playing as well as both turkish backup MB’s (who would start for most teams in the league)

Honestly embarrassing performance by Besiktas today at Gala. Completely undisciplined, multiple free ball kills, letting multiple serves land inside the end line, and almost every service reception barely reaching the 3m line. Not to mention choking away the second and third sets
Probably werent going to win this one but it was a bad sign and looked like terrible coaching. Also time for Dilay to get her starting job back.
