With this wide roster, I don’t see a big shake up for the Olympics. Maybe Ma’a for the second setter, and either Garcia over Ensing in the opp but Ensing got the Kumbaya effect especially that Garcia played poorly in his club team. With no Russia plus weaker Brazil roster, this time I expect a medal from this team.

What happened to Tyler Mitchem? Good call completely forgot Mitchem!! Mitchem did not play this year. He had surgery at the end of the summer/early fall. I am not sure if he is done, not in playing shape, or just didn't make the roster.

Good for Slight! Happy to see him on the wide roster. Hmmm. I love Champlin and Pasteur. I do. But I think we have some pretty good OHs out there playing Pro right now that should've been considered. Obviously, it's just a wide roster and we'll be more focused on getting DeFalco/Russell/Jaeschke/Muagututia back in synergy, but I would've liked to see some other guys in the gym. Anyone know how Wildman's first pro season went? He didn't see the court much for his Romanian team.

Will someone create a fancy VNL 2024 thread?
I could start one but it would be lame. That, and I'm too lazy.

The only spot that is a big ? is the second Opposite. Or, does Speraw bring Averil as a 4th middle?

In the few seconds of E Shoji's IG post, I sure noticed, Russell, DeFalco and Jaeschke all on the same side.
Hmmmm

I don't understand why Speraw is not using this VNL to give some experience to Rowan and McHenry?
Usa is already qualified for Olympics. Christenson's season finished very late, Smith is 40 yo. These 2 definitely must take at least 1 week of.
Will he give any chance to Ewert who had great season in France? I feel like there is no urge and planning for LA'28.

Rowan asked for the summer off, and the other middles are likely ahead of McHenry depth wise
