I’m interested to get a look at Iran with some development post-Maroof. Since most of their guys play domestically, we don’t get to see them much. The leadership void seemed to be biggest issue for them. Hopefully, someone has grown into the role. Added video of the match between Iran and Serbia

Poland now up 2-1. Canadian serve receive broke down.
I do have to say that the refs are being SUPER lenient with the throw/tip. There have been some pretty egregious ones that haven't been called.

I hate saying this but: Poland is beyond a favorite to win gold at this point. Even watching their A-/B+ squad—they don't really have weaknesses. Their depth is insane and they're not even taking all these guys.
USA could probably challenge them if all things fall into place and our guys just put on a phenomenal serving clinic. I don't know if France can get consistency that long of time from Brizard/N'Gapeth to repeat. Italy still has questions. Brazil... yeah, no.
I just really hope someone gets hot and knocks them out during the quarterfinals.
