Now, decisions have to be made between Turkiye-Netherlands and Cuba-Germany for which match I watch next.

I hate saying this but: Poland is beyond a favorite to win gold at this point. Even watching their A-/B+ squad—they don't really have weaknesses. Their depth is insane and they're not even taking all these guys. USA could probably challenge them if all things fall into place and our guys just put on a phenomenal serving clinic. I don't know if France can get consistency that long of time from Brizard/N'Gapeth to repeat. Italy still has questions. Brazil... yeah, no. I just really hope someone gets hot and knocks them out during the quarterfinals. You know, despite all that, I wouldn't put it past France to pull it together and make a run. That team really has the f-you mentality to pull it off.

Same, but mostly just to see if Nimir is going to flop two matches in a row (or if he even plays after the epic 5-setter yesterday)

Welp, they made it 3/4 of the way through set one before subbing Nimir into the match

Yeahhh I don’t think Netherlands has what it takes to qualify Definitely not if they lose this match, given Turkiye and Slovenia are both competing with them for that final spot. Slovenia beating France this morning helped their case a lot.
