#1 seed UCLA vs #4 seed UC Irvine First Semifinal- Thursday, May 2 at 4:00 pm
#2 seed Long Beach State vs #3 seed Grand Canyon University Second Semifinal - Thursday, May 2 - 6:30 pm
Which game will be the longest and hardest to win?
It's the matchup between the MPSF and the Big West Conference in both matches.

All-BW Finals? Cross my fingers Great to see Bouchkov, Bloom, Dane and Daniil in action. What happened to Godbold? Why the MIA? Great announcer/MC, BTW. He ( my apology for assuming your gender and pronouns  ) is doing a marvelous job. His clear enunciation and the tone of his voice are pleasing to the ear. It is seldom that volleyball fans can listen to such a wonderful announcer. He also seems knowledgeable and confident and passionate about volleyball and the teams. Characteristics of a great presenter! |

if the 3 Hawaii fans showed up and stayed all day for the quarters, gotta believe they are sticking it out to the finals

Characteristics of a great presenter! saving Godbold's legs. he was out for a month plus didn't want to let GCU scout all the receiving twists ahead of time. not that Werle can't find film anyway guess if Werle and MacRae were on the same staff, that team under them would be unstoppable  |

I am so excited for GCU with them making the final four! After their tough weekend in Hawaii, many wondered if they were for real but this group has worked hard and stuck with it.
However, I do believe that the seeds will hold true and that UCLA and LBSU will meet in the finals.

So I would be surprised if it’s 2 big west teams in the final.. I’m hoping for a big west final |

So I would be surprised if it’s 2 big west teams in the final.. I’m hoping for a big west final the way I see it Beach 2024 > Beach 2023 Irvine 2024 > IRvine 2023 (despite losing Sani) North 2024 > NOrth 2023 & SB beat UCLA, so hard for me to say Big West is down, Hawaii is down. to my eye Beach and NOrthridge were very clearly better (with Varga, Sianpanis progress, added two dynamic Middles). Irvien overall was more complete and finished stronger close, I just can't say Big West is much different |
