If you have ESPN+, best watch it there. Cuz Beach volleyball is gonna run over and you'll miss the beginning. And they'll cut the ending to switch to UFC 301. Heaven forbid ESPN show the beginning of the MVB championship on ESPNNews. Can't pre-empt a replay cornhole game to show a live MVB championship match... 🙄

I just expected more UCLA fans

and no UCLA band?, that was pretty sad. guessing they'll bring the band Saturday, plus the skimpy outfitted cheerleaders, unless maybe they don't lower themselves to go down to LB.

It would only be fitting though that UCLA loses due to the fact that they can't receive against a good Long Beach service game. I mean it's basically all we've discussed most of this season when it comes to UCLA.

Please LB, minimize (zero) service error when Simon Torwie is blocking. Do not waste his talent. I think we'll see Godbold in action this Saturday, and he will contribute. He has some kind of variety, which has proven to be a great weapon against UCI and CSUN 2 weeks ago. If Godbold is fit he will put UCLA in immediate danger.

LB going to take this easy, unfortunately. 3-1 I'd say. UCLA doesn't have the defense, and LB home court advantage is decent, as much as I hate to say. I still think GCU v UCI (or even 1 of them in the finals) would've been far more fun for neutrals.

There's some protest activity at the pyramid. If it grows, could it affect the finals?

My fam and I were there in the Pyramid both during UC Irvine and UCLA and Grand Canyon University vs Long Beach State games. At the conclusion of the UCIvs UCLA game, the fans leaving the Pyramid had to exit the emergency area due to the protesters locking down the Pyramid. Long Beach Police were called with riot gear. The protesters were all disperse.
