Should we explore the test scores in Chicago and then decide if These teachers unions are doing their jobs? Because shouldn’t we care about these kids education more than anything else?

If we're the editor of a newspaper/newsletter, we should care even more. We can also multitask and care about academic progress rates. Chicago area test scores continue to show improvement from the nadir of the Covid years, but are still lagging behind pre-covid levels. I'm still trying to find any evidence of the CTA pushing for a $50 billion budget (or something). |

So no, no one has the courage to look at the test scores because that’s really not the objective of the teachers union anyway to improve education. Thanks for confirming that.
