Columbus is a big city but is easy to get around in and easy to get to. And the volleyball arena is awesome (assuming they play it at the Covelli Center).
I didn't mind Stanford at all. Tons to do on off days and an intimate arena on an amazing campus.

Columbus is really not on that many people's destination list, George Mason is at least a central EIVA/Conf Carolina location, and DC metro area.

Agree they're gonna be praying for the Buckeyes to get in for attendance. But don't sleep on Columbus. Make the trip next spring. Lots of fun to be had on High street by campus or just south in the Short North District. Great airport 15 minutes away and a beautiful campus. Filling places like that will help speed the sport's growth process.

Is there a chance of expanding the playoff field next season? How/when is that decision made? guaranteed at least 9 spots as NEC gets an autobid in 2025

What is the point of dragging Hawaii in every single posts of yours? tOSU might not even be top 5 in the MIVA this year, your team looked pretty bad in their scrimmages ngl

The same could be said for every team since most of them have new, raw talent. Hawai'i will keep most of their key core players from last year, but OSU lost a couple of their key players and I don't think they've been replaced. Also, these are called the way too early rankings for a reason - because we're ranking on vibes only

ok, I don't watch mens volleyball but I'm curious why Hawaii is getting so much hype as a top 3 team? They lose tons of offense and don't have much experienced players to replace it.

Is this some exceptional year for international recruits in the mens game?

Is this some exceptional year for international recruits in the mens game? Well men's volleyball and women's volleyball are not remotely the same in the USA. Volleyball is the most popular team sport amongst high school girls. For boys, half our states don't even have it sanctioned at a high school level. It's an afterthought in youth sports across the country, with many regions having zero high school or collegiate programs period. Literally any country that plays volleyball will have their top talent be comparable with ours due to how few boys in the US are able to play volleyball.
