Quick and dirty web search on capacity and calculation of percentage of seats filled in 2024 Hawaii 10,300 61% BYU 5,000 72% Long Beach 4,200 44% UCLA 13,800 13% UC Irvine 5,000 24% Grand Canyon 7,000 16% Ohio State 3,700 25% Ball State 11,500 8% UC San Diego 5,000 17% Penn State 7,200 11% if Beach averaged over 2200, how are they 44% of capacity? not that it matters all too much Sorry, bad math Beach should be 53% |

TBH aside from Hawaii and BYU's attendance numbers, the attendance figures for the rest of the country is pathetic. Men's volleyball deserves better attendance than that especially storied programs like UCLA and The Beach. If just half of the women's volleyball fans would watch a men's game they would see how much better it is than the woman's game...just saying...

Men's volleyball deserves better attendance than that especially storied programs like UCLA and The Beach. If just half of the women's volleyball fans would watch a men's game they would see how much better it is than the woman's game...just saying... They are all out playing tournaments on weekends and don't have time to attend. Girls club season is basically no weekends off for months. |

Men's volleyball deserves better attendance than that especially storied programs like UCLA and The Beach. If just half of the women's volleyball fans would watch a men's game they would see how much better it is than the woman's game...just saying... They are all out playing tournaments on weekends and don't have time to attend. Girls club season is basically no weekends off for months. My three oldest daughters from 1992-2010 all played club and HS volleyball and two made it to college, so yes, I know it's year around. We still made time to attend the UH Men's games. People on the mainland should too. They don't know what they're missing! |

Except for Ohio State and Penn State, the mens' teams don't need additional fans from the womens' matches. It says something when Hawaii Men's VB attendance is Top 3 when compared to even women's home attendance. Just behind Nebraska & Wisconsin
