What do you think the odds are they both start over Skjodt? (pending the other OH they sign of course)

(pending the other OH they sign of course) I think it would be very likely. Skodt saw a little, not a lot of playing time in Orlando. That seems (with all due respect) like a depth signing.

volleyballmag.com/pro-volleyball-federation-report-070624/We asked PVF CEO Jen Spicher for a statement: “We continue to work on expansion,” she said. “In addition to our team in Indy, we look forward to working together with other ownership groups as well as new markets to bring teams to the courts in Pro Volleyball Federation.”
very insightful Jen.

the only courts KC and Dallas are going to see: I’m just confused. Did they change their mind? Or they just weren’t ready and thought they’d be able to figure things out and it blew up in their faces? It’s just really weird that they would go ahead and announce the expansion and then vanish like that. Not a good look for PVF.

If the owners want to salvage their investment, they need to fire Spicher pronto and bring someone in who is up to the task.

If the owners want to salvage their investment, they need to fire Spicher pronto and bring someone in who is up to the task. Didn't they hire her in the first place? I'm not sure I trust their ability to nail a replacement hire. This reminds me of the Pac-12 hiring Larry Scott and then following that up by hiring George Kliakoff, who promptly botched his primary job (negotiating a new TV deal) and helped kill off the conference.

I think Whinham/Evans hired her. Or at least one of them touted knowing her pre-PVF

True… but we can all agree - if they want to survive, they need someone who brings more to the table than an idea and a pack of Virginia Slims.
