Didn't they hire her in the first place? I'm not sure I trust their ability to nail a replacement hire. This reminds me of the Pac-12 hiring Larry Scott and then following that up by hiring George Kliakoff, who promptly botched his primary job (negotiating a new TV deal) and helped kill off the conference. True… but we can all agree - if they want to survive, they need someone who brings more to the table than an idea and a pack of Virginia Slims. I agree that she has to go. I just don't have much faith in PVF to nail the replacement hire. I guess we'll see.

Symone Abbott will play in Greece for the first half of the season. Doesn’t this make her ineligible for PVF? Or is she already signed to a team? We saw players come into PVF after international seasons ended. But how does something like work? Thanks.

Evans played in Romania until December (or something like that) and then went to PVF. I assume Abbott will be the same. It wont be like what Stephanie Samedy/Kendall Kipp/etc did. Abbott will play the full PVF season, not the full Greek season.

But what’s to say she can return to PVF, Grand Rapids Rise? I don’t see her signed to any team for next season?

Kind of neat to see some of the PVF athletes are competing in the women's open grass triples tournament at Waupaca Boatride this year in Wisconsin. Names I'm seeing are Reagan Pittman, Kamaile Hiapo, Whitney Bower, Grace Loberg, and Temi Thomas-Ailara. Also, some NCAA alum and some current pros overseas: Mac May, Ella May Powell, Izzy Ashburn, Charlotte Cronister, Iya Lindahl (LMU beach), and Sara Putt (FSU beach) waupaca.volleyballlife.com/tournament/14373/division/61916/teams
