Glass-Childress, Oblad, and Hippe have also been re-signed by Vegas. Hippe is a surprise. wonder if her supposed greek team went broke. Half-season maybe? Evans did that last year in Romania before coming to Grand Rapids |

You are entitled to your opinion. I have mine. Her digs per set average was near the bottom for all liberos in the PVF. She is fat and slow and has poor range. She does ok if the ball comes right to her, but if the ball is anywhere away from her body, she can't reach it. Heck, Nuneviller had almost as many digs as White. As a season ticket holder, I saw all the Supernovas home matches and watched most of the away matches on Youtube. I think the Supernovas can do a lot better at the libero position. your description of k. white is uncalled for...grow-up The description is relevant to her play, which makes it within bounds for discussion. If you have seen her play this past year, you would know that she is, indeed, quite a hefty gal and IMO too slow for a professional libero. Her girth and lack of quickness/agility hinder her play. That is fair for discussion on this board. Indeed, my calling her fat and slow is pretty tame compared to other discussions I have seen on this board. |

I watch a lot of college volleyball and I see how much coaching impacts college teams. However, I have zero insight into how much the coaching impacts teams at the professional level. My question is this, how important was coach Bird to the Supernovas title run? Would the Supernovas' season have been radically different with another coach? I honestly have no idea and would love to hear from others who may have insight into this. |
