The description is relevant to her play, which makes it within bounds for discussion. If you have seen her play this past year, you would know that she is, indeed, quite a hefty gal and IMO too slow for a professional libero. Her girth and lack of quickness/agility hinder her play. That is fair for discussion on this board. Indeed, my calling her fat and slow is pretty tame compared to other discussions I have seen on this board. i don't care if it's tame compared to others...it's uncalled for & you are likely a male talking s**t about a female (for their body image) in a sport you so call love to watch...it is interesting it's more of a reflection of how you show up It is not uncalled for to discuss a player's physical limitations when it is relevant to how they play the game. For example, I have criticized Omaha Supernovas setter Valentin-Anderson because she is short, (she is 5'8") which limits her ability to block when she is in the front row. That is not body shaming. It is simply a description of a physical characteristic which impacts her ability to play the game. Similarly, I have criticized White for being slow and fat, because it limits her ability to do her job which consists of covering ground on defense in the backcourt and digging balls that come her way, often at high velocities. If that is too triggering for you, all I can say is that you are going to have a tough time on this board because this board features a lot of negative criticism of players and coaches. It is a common feature of message boards in all sports.

Pia Zimmer playing for the Vibe...
Do Omaha and Atlanta have close to full rosters re-signed and Columbus and San Diego have announce nothing?
Can someone put together a list of the signings for each team so far? It's hard to keep track through 10 pages.
Edit: Nvm...Avid 2.0 is on it!!

At least we have something coming out of Orlando that they're working on a roster.

You’re just upset nobody here jumped on the “let’s insult players’ bodies” train with you. Get a facking life. Also katn has been on the board longer than you, unless you’re using a burner account.

Seeing some of these signings makes me very happy that we still get to see these players in action in the U.S. At the same time, I am sad thinking about the quality players that are signed with LOVB and that we will not see some these players face off. I wish there was one league housing all these teams and players and working together. I wish we could all get along like we used to in middle school... I wish I could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy...

I think a lot of the LOVB players would not have signed with PVF to begin with, so it's good that there are two domestic leagues giving opportunities to players.
