Can you blame us though? When was the last time we looked this bad going into an Olympics?A medal in Paris is looking like a fantasy at this point.
I mean... you asked...
This match was a fluke. The team had already qualified for the finals as the top seed and was looking MUCH more competent through out the entire preliminary phase up until that match.

the point remains... valuable time waisted for both Hancock and Carlini all the while mind games spread. Well thats nothing new. This whole quad has been wasteful. 2022 was focused on Frantti 2023 was focused on Lanier/Micha 2024.... none of them are around. He spent 3 years doing who knows what with Cuttino. maybe there's a reason he got a paycut lolWait REALLY?!

Now THIS is the tea we come here for 😂
If 2024 is Karch’s last rodeo, who is pegged as his successor?

Now THIS is the tea we come here for 😂 If 2024 is Karch’s last rodeo, who is pegged as his successor? in a perfect world? someone not American that is willing to develop and make the hard decisions. in USAVs world: I would bet my money on Slabe/Tama/Fischer/Morrison.

KP had a great club season, but that level of play hasn’t been seen on the NT pretty much this entire quad? Meanwhile Lanier and Frantti have consistently improved the entire time and don’t make Paris?? Also Poulter over Micha just doesn’t make sense, especially if you’re set on bringing Plummer. Yeah this is Jordyn’s first tournament back but Micha has looked better the whole tournament and has two working legs lol.

I actually feel cautiously optimistic about USA… if they stick with Carlini (big if), I think they’ll settle in.

I think the USA is going to be just fine. If there's one thing they have consistently done well, it's pass and that will help them leverage their physical advantage at close quarters.
