Attention Challenger League Participants: nakakagigs, huskervolleyfan14, pointexas, devilhorns24, herecomesthebusboom, hookem24, gohuskervolleyball, GatorsChomp, sfvbsfvb, madithekuntress, Stanlifornia, babyhusker, Stargazer, sluggermatt15, ( maigrey) A few things. The weekly schedule has been posted on the first page. There have been some structural changes. As I was generating the weekly schedule, I realized that 14 participants in 14 weeks cannot make for a true round robin and bye week (my apologies on that). I have reverted back to the traditional schedule of 13 full round robin weeks. I thought this was the most fair as it doesn't give any one team an advantage for having a bye week in week 1 AND this ends the league at week 13 which includes all eligible schools (many teams do NOT play in week 14). The "bye week team" is now being called the challengers team. Each of you has a week to go up against the challengers team. During your challenger week, you can choose to submit a separate roster, if you don't, the default roster will be used. Question for the League: Since this is a points base standing, I thought it could be fun to put a little skin in the game for the challengers team matchup. Every team could have the opportunity to earn bonus points during their matchup with the challengers team should they win, but I'll let the league decide whether or not they want to do this Question: If you win against the challengers team, should you be awarded bonus points? Yes/No Bonus Points as follows: Win 5-0: 3 points Win 4-1: 2 points Win 3-2: 1 point |

So for the week its our turn against the challengers team, this would be a bonus matchup in addition to our regular round robin? So like a double matchup week, and everyone gets one over the season? correct. |

The draft starts tomorrow at 12pm ET / 9am PT. Each participant will have a 12-hour time limit to post their pick in each round. The 12-hour clock will begin at the time of the preceding participant’s pick. When making your pick, please list them as follows: Sarah Franklin, OH, Wisconsin Tag the next person in the draft order that it is their turn -- serpentine drafting (the draft order reverses in each round) will be in effect. Any edited posts may be deemed invalid. Don’t try to correct spelling or other errors. The official rosters will have the accurate info. You may post your draft pick in the official fantasy thread during your pick window, or, if you won’t be available (or aren’t sure if you will make the time limit when your turn comes up), you may send your pick to an administrator via PM to post on your behalf or designate a proxy to the administrator. I suppose we COULD start now.... I did technically open up the drafting a day earlier last year, though sfvbsfvb wasn't online and I had to make his 1st round pick for him well after the original official start. The Champions league was already 3 rounds in before the Challengers league even made a single pick  .  |
