Are Bay to Bay and Rockstar the best clubs in the nation? I think as of right now yeah it’s fair to say they are! Damn well deserved

For example Surf and Balboa only had 2 open medals but every single team ages 14 and up at those clubs finished at worst in the top 5. Whereas Bay to Bay 18s failed to make gold Bay to Bay 16s failed to make gold. Rockstar 17s failed to make gold bracket. etc... if we are talking total medals I think your argument is fair. But to be quite honest those 5 clubs at the top are there for a reason. And there's one thing in common with all of them. CALIFORNIA VOLLEY IS BETTER THAN EVERYWHERE ELSE AND IT AINT CLOSE

And even a "down" year includes the 18 Open title, a 3rd at 15 Open, 5th at 16 and 17 Open, and 9th at 14 Open. That's absurd for a down year for the club.

CALIFORNIA VOLLEY IS BETTER THAN EVERYWHERE ELSE AND IT AINT CLOSE Congratulations. The good news is competitive programs are popping up in new parts of the USA. It's in everyone's best interest to see the boys side of the sport growing, and growing fast. A decade ago you rarely if ever saw teams from North Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Texas, Utah, etc. in Open at all, and now some are finishing in the Gold bracket of Open. California is and probably always will be the epicenter of men's volleyball in the USA. But it's great that the sport is growing. Hopefully more colleges continue to add D1/2 programs in more areas of the country, as that seems to be helping grow the game at the youth level as well.
