Rules definition:

MB- A player who blocks the ball in zone 3, and assists the block in zones 2 and 4, during a majority of their front row rotations.

So, it seems irrelevant how/where a player "lines up". If they are blocking from the middle in two of their three rotations, that seems good enough to meet that definition ^. Which I like that definition, because middles can and do attack from anywhere on the court. What makes them a middle blocker, is, blocking in the middle!

if that’s the case, she’s a middle I think. she plays left for one rotation before going back to blocking middle

what’s absolutely insane to me is they’re playing her in all different positions back row bc she’s lined up next to the setter. she literally played left back

well the problem was she’s lined up as the L1 and then was hitting on the left lol, but alas it was only one rotation

Franklin finally gets a block assist at the end - which I'm surprised about considering Grote swung 50 times this match - however, Minnesota should have closed the match out earlier in the set, so the fact that Franklin got the block kinda irritates me
