But yea so why can't Poulter finish a match? She was fine today, wasn't pushed cuz the Dutch didn't show up so this was the perfect match for her to work it out?

Oh Kathryn that swing gave Stanford 🤩 yep, wasn't forced into some quick crap she doesn't need to be successful but alas Like why is a 6’6” hitter getting sets that are barely at the top of the net

I feel like if Poulter and Carlini could be one person they would be the best all around setter in the world. Poulter clearly has better connections consistently with most of the hitters. Carlini does all the other intangibles really well, especially defense but her offense has been suspect this entire summer. Like her sets to the left pin are just plain bad.
Serving is still a problem.
The Dutch are mid and we are mid+ right now.
I just don't see us beating China and Serbia in this state. We need to take our level of play up SEVERAL notches.
Two weeks left to figure it out. Probably less due to travel.
We'll see how it all shakes out!

I’m not gonna lie but every time I watch this team play I get more and more concerned for Paris 💀 Serbia and China are scary as we know, but we all assume that France is gonna be a cakewalk and idk… they have some decent pieces and you never know when they can put them all together. Plus playing at home in an OLYMPICS might motivate more than anything else could. Let’s just pray that if they’re in the mood to upset someone they upset China or Serbia LMFAO

Does Hancock see the court in Match #3 Sunday evening? Isn’t she injured? I think someone mentioned she was limping the other night when Carlini was the only setter dressed out.

Yeah, I remember someone saying something about her being in a boot. Theoretically, if she isn't injured, I was thinking it may be beneficial to give her court time with the changes with the alternate rules.
