I've admittedly not had a chance to watch a ton of matches, but I'm going: Vargas/Orro/Gabi/Skinner/Thaisa/Chiaka/JWO, with MVP Egonu. |

Has there ever been a team to win Gold by only losing 1 set for the entire Olympics? I'm not sure what happened with the slip up against the Dominicans, but that in itself is a crazy stat!

Tbh I’m disappointed and not just bc my team flopped. There were too many non competitive matches in what was supposed to be a banger of a tournament between a deep field. There were a few good matches in pool play but dang. Still had fun watching the matches but I was hoping for more drama

Has there ever been a team to win Gold by only losing 1 set for the entire Olympics? I'm not sure what happened with the slip up against the Dominicans, but that in itself is a crazy stat! Brazil 2008, 1 lost set in 8 matches. |
