I know there are individual threads devoted to the three people who have announced their retirement, but I thought it would be good to have a thread discussing the ramifications of what they did for the volleyball community as well as conjecture about what to expect in the future.
Rich is not going anywhere until the end of 2025, he is actively seeking a successor. Bofa has said that there is a successor in line who will continue to do the calculations, I hope they contribute to the betterment of the code as time goes on as well. Tawa has written his last piece for VolleyballMag.com, so he is done.
Since conjecturing is one of the most popular activities here on VT, I hope to read some doozies.

Obviously all the same guy. Has anyone ever seen all three of in the same place? The good news is that we can rule out the possibility that we are all Mick Haley.

The more I think about this I actually think Tawa would be a phenomenal choice for CEO of USAV. He knows everybody, knows the issues, knows the history of everybody and their issues, he can communicate and if I recall he has a law degree which means he can understand some of the BS that is involved in the position.

Why would he want that job? Especially post Davis?

But if I were USA, he's probably better than a lot of names on their list.
