Does anyone know why McHenry hasn't been playing? He's with this team is he not? Coming in to the tournament, I was expecting McHenry and Gasman to be the MB's. But, both have played only sparingly. |

Read has been coaching these for a while now and the teams have always looked off chemistry-wise. He also refrains from pulling his predetermined starters. This was the first time Champlin was pulled but wasn't really the first time he wasn't performing offensively (he hit 0.000 for the first 4 sets against Canada) same thing for Isaacson to mix things up setting-wise. His roster management was also not that good (for a tournament where you played all but one day) to the point that some of the guys looked pooped and irritable by the of the tourney and guys like Wildman and Pasteur had such limited court time that when their number was called they weren't as sharp as we know them to be. |
