USA down 0-2 after losing sets 1 and 2 (26-24)
Canada just might sweep.

Welp USA took set 3 (28-26)
Pretty tight match. USA needs to win more of the longer, scramble rallies.

I will say I'm loving what I see from Gabi. To be fair, this isn't the level of competition he'd face playing with the A-team, but he's got heat behind his swing, blocking well, and playing some great defense.

Does anyone know why McHenry hasn't been playing? He's with this team is he not?

Does anyone know why McHenry hasn't been playing? He's with this team is he not? He's there. I don't think he's injured. He played sparingly at the start of the tournament. But Andy Read doesn't do a lot of rotating with the starters or waits too late. Same thing happened VNL Week 1.

Isaacson's location is so inconsistent and attempts to force the middle have been 😬

USA better find a way to keep Defalco and at least one of Russell/Jaeschke going into LA2028 because this next group of OHs can't pass and can't kill the ball at a high enough level.
Briggs will be a bright spot for the libero position. Gabi can be a solid back-up (not sure he's THE opposite yet) and we might be all right in the middle.
But we are leagues behind everyone else in the world when it comes to OH development and stars.

Speraw said in his interview with VBM that a few guys said they want to come back for the next quad, so imagine at least one of those two are in. I think if they can play in pro leagues that don't require them to be that Everything Guy for their team, they could hold up.
