I don't know how bad Leal's injury is. Without him, I don't think Brazil will get out of the Pool play  |

Keeping in mind that they went to this format because wanted to cut back from the 5 games in the preliminary round. 5 games in 10 days is a lot better than VNL schedules. If they want to absolutely not do 2 pools of 6, then do 4 pools of 3. Let everyone make the knockouts. Pool winners get byes. But the whole “two best third-placed teams” is just not a good idea with such limited matches against different competition. |

Also, unrelated the 9AM Paris time matches are gonna take adjustments from players.. I bet they’re not used to playing that early |

LA needs to bring back the 2 pools and all the chaos and fun they bring. |
