I'm gonna go with USA vs France final IDK... France has gone 5 three times this tournament with "lesser" teams and is 2-1. Italy just had their first 5-setter, but they're definitely on another level passing, blocking, serving, and OOS than the other teams France has faced (and almost lost to). |

Idk seems like a pretty chill schedule overall. I wonder if Bieniek will play. I haven’t gone back to the replay to see what happened that ended with him limping off the court with people’s help during the end of the QF against Slovenia. Huber played the last few points. Their alternate is a third opposite. |

So after all the pool play, reverse sweeps, stupid red cards (lol)
The world’s best 4 teams remain . Pretty cool how that all worked out.
Tomorrow will be a treat for the VB world. I’ve been getting so much positive feedback and compliments about how much casual fans are loving these matches.

Semifinals Predictions: USA vs Poland: USA Italy vs France: Italy As an American, who would you prefer to play for a medal, Italy or France? Seems Italy is a slightly stronger team, but France has home court advantage. Italy. France is streaky but they still find a way to get it done at the most pivotal times. It's a very experienced squad. Italy is young. Their passing can be very suspect. If you get their pins in trouble, their backups are even younger. We've played really well against Italy this quad while, with France, it's a toss up. |

Please be aware that Poland is NOT playing the United States at home like the last few matchups over the years. That was always always the determining factor. This USA team is playing as clean of volleyball as anyone in the tourney and matches up very well against Poland. USA 3-0 or 3-1 to advance to Gold Medal Match. Aaron, TJ and our middles will have a day. |
