What is the best positional breakdown with roster limit of 18?
Setters - 3 Liberos - 3 Middles - 4-5 Pins (OH/OPP) - 7-8
Thoughts?

Setters - 3 Liberos - 2 Middles - 4 OH - 5 OPP - 2
Hybrid dual-position players. They can step in to fill any injuries above. OH/L - 1 (undersized OH that can play L when needed) MB/OPP - 1 (RAW project hitter that can't pass)

Standard 14, + 1 setter, 1 OH/Opp, 1 MB/Opp, 1 OH/L
Serving Specialists is where I kind of hit a minor roadblock since I want to avoid a situation where a player needed for an injury substitution or otherwise has already been used to serve, if they come out of the pins the backup options are there in the hybrid players though. If one is a setter things get rough unless all 3 of your setters are ready for play time (which is my entire problem with this cap lol. Discourages having any long-term prospects because almost every member of the roster has to be game-time ready.)

Setters - 3 Libreros - 2 Opposites - 2 Outsides - 4 Middles - 5 A terminal pin for OH/OPP - 1 A defensive pin for OH/L - 1
In summary, the standard 14 + an extra Setter, Middle, OH/OPP and OH/L.
