8/30: Indiana d. Kennesaw State 3-0Avry Tatum goes 16-2-18 (.778), but passing woes affect the Hoosiers as they are aced 8 times in a 3 set match. Well, I guess not that much, as the team hits over .400. 8/31: Indiana defeats Wichita State 3-2 (15-13)Again, Avry Tatum leads the way with 17 kills hitting over .400, and Haworth finally gets on the ace board with 4. Very poor production from the middles, which needs to be fixed asap. No sign of sophomore Ava Vickers in the middle, and for that matter, no sign of 5th year player Morgan Geddes. Though Saris is doing well offensively, (not passing well though) Go Hoosiers Any knowledge on Ava Vickers? Looming injury? I didn’t get a chance to watch this weekend because I was traveling. Ending the weekend 3-0 is obviously the best scenario, but it did not look pretty at times, at least from the box scores. |

I felt bad for the Davis squad. Aggies played four matches in four days. They flat ran out of gas in the fourth set after leading 23-19.

I got nothing. I would love to know why Vickers and Geddes aren't playing. I see them both on the sidelines, dressed. Was wondering the same thing. I watched Indiana played against Ohio State, and was very impressed with Ava Vickers (#11). She seems undersized for a BIG MB (listed at 6'0"); but, appears to be extremely quick on the block and attack. She brought in a lot of energy to the court and plays with a lot of fun. I hope she starts against Minnesota this week. |

Because teams at the top of the B10 don't have 2 capable LIB/DS? I don't understand what "she wasn't going to beat out Gary" means.
Nebraska, Penn State, and Wisconsin all have multiple highly recruited Lib/DS options.
