Watching the live stats of the Northern Iowa match and I have to assume that Lauren Murphy got hurt between last weeks scrimmage and yesterday. She played 3 of the 4 sets and looked like the starter (at least with Sellman and Wrobel hurt), but Reese Wuebker has played OH2 for both matches, despite starting negative and staying in the negative for long stretches of the match. OSU about to be tied 1-1 with UNI. So Sellman and Wrobel are still out with injury? Yeesh… do we know what the injuries are? |

It wouldn't shock me if this continues for JFO to move Londot back to OH and use one of the backup middles, like Ragler at Opp, where she played a little bit last year. |

Weird but good result for this first weekend, especially with the current injury situation at OH.
On the bench, Sellman had a compression sleeve on her right knee, but the other two still had nothing to hint at what was bothering them. Hopefully at least one is back for the game next Sunday at Florida.

I wonder if the Buckeyes stayed in Dayton, or if they just made the drive back and forth for their matches. What is it, like an hour, 90 minutes tops?

I bet they drove over Friday morning and stayed Friday night with the 11 AM match on Saturday and drove back after the match on Saturday night. Probably closer to the 90 minute drive via bus instead of car. With how close these two teams are, I wonder if they try to find a midweek date that works for both to reschedule or just both take the RPI hit. |
