I'm surprised no one mentioned the obvious answer... The Devaney Center Love the devaney center. It’s so close to LA. Like a 2 minute ride by car Also, no one wants to be in Nebraska in July and August.

The Honda Center is the current front runner, but there are other possibilities being considered. The Intuit Dome--the new home of the Clippers--has just opened in Inglewood and is being considered, in part because of it's potential accessibility by public transportation (it's also a pretty awesome arena in its own right). There is a new Metro line station in Westwood (D line) slated to open 2027, but that may be overly optimistic. The Honda Center is conveniently located, but mass public transport to there will require special shuttles since there is not much existing public transportation currently (it's also in Orange County, not LA, which rankles some of the planners for some reason). There is so much wrong in this post. 1. As someone has already pointed out, the Intuit Dome has already been announced as the site for basketball. 2. Currently, public transportation to the Intuit Dome is horrible. The nearest train station is almost 2 miles away, and the local congress person has come out as opposed to the proposed extension to Intuit and SoFi Stadium. 3. The Honda Center is less than a quarter mile from the Anaheim Regional Transportation Center. It may not yet be officially announced, but Honda Center will be the site. With Crypto Arena committed to Gymnastics, and Intuit Dome to Basketball, Honda Center is the only remaining arena in the area that has luxury suites, which is a priority for the FIVB.

Let’s go Honda Center!

Amtrak goes right to the Honda Center, and that's the main OC transit hub right there. I would think in terms of OC public transit, HOnda Center is about as ideal as one could get.......as it's set up for Disneyland access now whether they'd run a couple xtra trains a day from DTLA.......and they'd have to shuttle teams from Westwood, which is what one would think they'd try do do

LB Arena would be great for public transit
but it's far too dated.
was fine for 1984
