The Lunatics were there as I predicted. We were missing some WiseGuys but it didn't matter as the team made sure to give the quieter fans something to cheer about with the sweep. There were 3 pitiful looking guys sitting near you with a Tennessee flag draped over the railing. Was that them? A-Mac, I think you made up for any missing Wise Guys. I know it was so pitful... The fact that only 3 of us were able to go on a 23 hour long ordeal to show up to a volleyball game is pretty sad. But for comparison, i found this photo from the last UTK / UF game in Knoxville. In the background, you can see the entire group of Wise Guys who made the trip. I can definately see how we would look "pitiful" by comparison

Okay, okay....I take back the word 'pitiful'. How about.........pathetic. You definitely were NOT loud. I was awatchin' ya, so don't even try to say you were rowdy. By the middle of the 1st game you were like whipped puppies. And don't be raggin' on my man A-Mac.

Lunatics...
props to you for driving so far for a volleyball game. Hope you had a fun trip (except for losing). If it's any consolation, your soccer team beat us.
Above post is just some good natured teasin.

Last, but certainly not least.... A Mac has got nothing!!!! 3 pitiful guys that drove 8 hours?? uhh, how about two pitiful guys that walked like five minutes (pathetic).... Do you know what the lamest thing in sports is??/ When people at other schools take cheers that were created specifically at another school and totally rip them off..... A mac, if you are so "feared" by our players, why cant you be a little more creative?? You cant come up with anything better than what we do? (sad) Oh this is gonna be fun: 1. Only one WiseGuy walked in late because he was at practice, the two others that stand had to work and I was there an hour and a half before the match outside and the others that didn't stand were 30 minutes early. 2. Ripping off cheers? We mostly used school cheers and our serve cheers. If I remember correctly, and I do, you stole some of our stuff. 3. I was given the opportunity to kick you guys out because one of the security guards that knows me came over to me and asked if I wanted him to kick you guys out. (He would have been able to because flags are banned in the O'Dome although UF fans bring them...and thats why I turned down the offer. 4. On the comment of the "entire front row,' you DIDN'T have the entire front row.

A-Mac, I think you made up for any missing Wise Guys. Thanks for the props Alberta. I don't know if you noticed though but the kid next to me had to keep holding me back anytime the Lunatics said anything...everyone kept saying "be the better fan, don't start trouble." I also disappointed some people who thought I'd be decked in the bodypaint again but I only use that for important games.

On the comment of the "entire front row,' you DIDN'T have the entire front row. Sorry, i just woke up.... I hadnt had any sleep in the past two days.. since I DROVE ALL THE WAY TO FLORIDA.... Dont give us any excuses about what people were doing. Do you think that the other two wise guys were the only people in the world that had to work?? Truth is, we originally had a bigger group planning on going, which would have been terrible for you guys, because then it would have turned into a home game for us. You dont think we were louder than you? Mary Wise told us herself after the game, sorry, but thats all the proof i need. Also, if you can go back and here the radio broadcast or even see the match, we were always louder, Listen to when you guys started Orange and Blue, i bet after the third time all you hear is orange and white, which is pathetic, because it was 3 of us against the whole side of the gym. We ripped off from you!!! ? Sad thing is, i could barely hear you, so i wouldnt be able to rip anything off, but you can tell ureself that if it makes you feel better.. Uhh, im not a security gaurd or anything, but, im pretty sure nobody would get kicked out of the O dome for bringing a flag, i thnk the worst thing that would happen is, they would take it from us. One last thing..... We know you were there 30 minutes early, we were standing right behind in the line... I bet you never even noticed and when i said took over the first row, i didnt mean, number and size, because of course that is impossible in the Odome, but, if you consider who on the front row was loud and even doing anything.. we had 3, you had 2.......enough said...

How did i have a feeling this would turn into another lame "cheer-off" thread... Oh this is gonna be fun: 1. Only one WiseGuy walked in late because he was at practice, the two others that stand had to work and I was there an hour and a half before the match outside and the others that didn't stand were 30 minutes early. OK, but 2 can play at that game. We had 2 guy get sick, and another unexpectedly had to work after someone else at his job quit at the least minute and their shifts had to be picked up. Plus you know, the other people who couldnt make it just because it's TWENTY THREE HOURS LONG. And you arn't impressing anybody with how early you showed up. The only people who showed up earlier than we did were the parents of one of OUR players. Plus I'm pretty sure it took us just a little bit longer to get there. Not that it matter because we all showed up earlier enough to go in when gates opened and get the seats we wanted. 2. Ripping off cheers? We mostly used school cheers and our serve cheers. If I remember correctly, and I do, you stole some of our stuff. Well since you remember so correctly maybe you could tell us which ones we ripped off... Unless you mean when we were using "your"cheers before the game when we were still disguised as Gator students, I'm pretty sure this is BS... 3. I was given the opportunity to kick you guys out because one of the security guards that knows me came over to me and asked if I wanted him to kick you guys out. (He would have been able to because flags are banned in the O'Dome although UF fans bring them...and thats why I turned down the offer. Please dont tell me you think we actually would have been kicked out by your security guard friend... He might have attempted to kick us out, but we would have gone over his head there there is no way it would stick. There is no way they would kick us out just for having a flag, especially considering you had 4 or 5 big ass laminated signs. At worse we would have just had to fold the flag up and put it away. So on one hand don't try and make it sound like we were only able to keep watching the game because of your generous mercy... On the other hand dealing with that guy attempting to kick us out would have distracted us from the game for at least 5 minutes, so thank you for not taking him up on his offer. I don't know if you noticed though but the kid next to me had to keep holding me back anytime the Lunatics said anything...everyone kept saying "be the better fan, don't start trouble." I also disappointed some people who thought I'd be decked in the bodypaint again but I only use that for important games. LOL what was he holding you back from doing? Running over and trying to fight us? Directing one of your vicious "hahahha's" at us? And what are you supposed to "be a better fan" about? Like i said, we are a lot more polite on the road than at home, so we made an extremely small number of negative comments. We allmost entirely just cheered our own team on... I'm not sure exactly how that merits a "be the better fan"

Louder on the radio is meaningless, you were closer to the radio braodcast microphone. As for the orange and blue, my friend who was sitting in a different section asked me what you were saying when we said blue because he couldn't hear you. If you couldn't hear me then why did you say we ripped stuff off you? If I ripped stuff off you you had to be able to hear it. And to quote the sign in the O'Dome "The following items are prohibited and are grounds for removal" and flags are listed. My signs are OK by O'Dome rules because they feel you can choke someone with flags but not signs (I know thats stupid but thats the rule.) As for the "Just Like Prom Night: Rejected" if you gusy think you made that up, I guess you need to sue every college basketball commentator. Whatever, I was there, had a good time, and saw Florida win and thats all that matters to me. You guys traveled 23 hours and pretend like thats a big deal and that you should be praised or something but IMO so what if you drove that far, if I had a driver's license I would go to every away game but since I don't have one (and don't have the money for plane tickets) I'm stuck without a ride since all my friends have jobs and work overtime right before basketball season so they can use their vacation time on basketball game days.

We were closer to the radio broadcast guy? You were four seats down from us and outnumbered us by about 50.... THERE IS ABSOLUTELY no excuse for us to go into YOUR house and be louder, your friend is deaf, because everyone heard white, including everyone around and you seemed to get a little pissed off, haha, it was funny...... aaawww look at the little gator fans, they are pissed because somehow three guys came all the way form knoxivlle, masterminded a huge plan to get in a flag (we also brought in tons of other stuff) and somehow are louder than them on the radio..... aww how sad You dont have a drivers license? How about you get one, or you get a friend to drive you 16 hours and come up here to knoxville... Then maybe you can say something..... Until then, shutup!! Dont come up with any bullcrap excuses either. Do you really think you are the only person in the world that stuff happens to?? You want examples of stuff you ripped off of us??? how about the whole row behind us chanting Cant Stop Kelsey after we started it for our Kelsey... Also... there were 3250 people that made noise when our team served, funny how when we got the serve off, you could always hear a GO VOLS! guess what! that was only 3 people. You Florida fans are so freaking lame for saying anything about us. If any of you would have the balls to basically take off a weekend and drive up here, i would give you all the respect in the world. Instead, you guys call us pathetic or pitiful... What is wrong with you??? Are you just jealous that you dont have any fans that are willng to do what we did for our team?? I'd also like to add that we were not in the friendliest of environments, we defintely proved we had balls. The people behind us (who had no idea we were UT fans until we revealed ourselves were hitting us, jabbing their knees in our backs, so we couldnt even really sit, literally screaming so close to our ears that spit was flying in our faces and hitting us everytime you guys do your little gator chomp crap............................ Man, if i knew three guys from any university that took our their weekend to go to another university, sit in the middle of fans like that and do nothing but cheer on their team.. i would defintely call them pitiful...........

uhh, one more thing..
Of course we think that traveling is a big deal... Are you saying that drving to Alabama, Penn St, and Florida isnt a big deal??? If that isnt, what in the world have you done that is so much better???
I didnt have a highlight of the trip unitl you started talking all this ridiculous bull crap, but you know what? Now i have one... After the game a group of people SITTING ACCROSS FROM ALL OF US came over and wished that we were the cheering student section instead of you..... ouch... Id be hurt if someone said that about us here, too bad nobody will.........

This is all so hilarious. We travelled so far, we were louder, your fans suck. If you think making noise while Florida is serving is dominating, then I guess that's your perception. Florida fans go silent when Florida is serving, always have, so of course you're gonna be heard. And yelling choke when someone misses a serve is so original. When Tennessee was serving or Florida got a point or there was a nice rally or play, you were drowned out and it wasn't even a contest. Seriously, I think it's great that y'all made the trip, but to say you dominated the crowd and were louder than everyone is just false and if you think your cheers are original, you've got a lot to learn. You are legends in your own mind.

And instead of arguing about who was louder, why don't you Vol fans talk about the fact that your coach again gave up on your team? Get down 4-5 points, pull the starters. He totally gave up and conceded that match basically in game 2. What is up with that?

You dont have a drivers license? You want examples of stuff you ripped off of us??? how about the whole row behind us chanting Cant Stop Kelsey after we started it for our Kelsey... I'm in college and don't have a driver's license, you should be smart enough to figure out there is most likely a big reason why I don't have one. And the whole Kelsey thing (which I did not partake in) is called mocking, not stealing. And all thsi bragging about people saying you are better fans is bull, you were called good fans and commended for driving down but were not called better fans. As for bragging about masterminding a plan to sneak the flag in, a preschooler could sneak a flag in the O'Dome so I don't get why thats so impressive. Whatever, your team lost so you need a reason to brag about your "big" trip. If you were so important to your team as you claim wouldn't they have done better? And I like how you criticize the WiseGuys and try to make me embarrassed, it doesn't work...after all I even started a thread where I talked about how the WiseGuys and other student attendence has suffered this year and I asked how to improve it. But if you still want to keep this going just call into Mary's show tonight. I garauntee she will say how Tennessee had some vocal fans but the louder Florida fans made sure they weren't a factor. You know how I know she'll say that? Because she said a very similar statement already after the match.

Patrick said the environment and the crowd factored into Tennessee having several lapses in passing.
Sophomore Mindy Flynn agreed.
"Florida always really wants it," Flynn said. "Their fans are tremendous.
"They always come out to play."
I guess Florida fans suck so much, that Tennessee's coach and a player say otherwise.
