A fun game would be predict the stats... how many blocks for UW vs. OSU? Who outhit who? What was Dolgners hitting %? How did the UW middles fare against the over-matched OSU middles? I'll go with 16 blocks to 12, OSU outhit UW .241-.229, Dolgner with 21k, .170%, and UW middles hit .280 with about 7 blocks a piece. I wasn't far off... UW outblocks 16.5-11, OSU outhits .229-.198, Dolgner w/25k, .198%, and holy hell, she gets 71 attempts(!!!!!), Badger middles hit .281 with 14 blocks between them... Main had 2 kills... at least a small moral victory

Dolgner ends the match with a double double at 25 kills, 10 digs, and 3 blocks, 1 ace. She tied Danielle Meyer w/ match high point honors with 27.5

here's a bet. The Wisconsin website posts the stats of this loss before Ohio State posts stats for their win.... It is often easier for the visiting SID to post their information before the home SID. The visiting SID writes his/her story during the match and at the end just has to add in final stats, upload the box score to the web and be done with it. The home SID has to deal with media interviews, distribution of stats, making sure the visiting SID has everything before he/she leaves and the like. Just trying to give a little different viewpoint.

Technically, there is real-time coverage with the score updates. ;D I'm not sure with the other stuff, but I know he does the best with what he has.

That's my point vbsid...it's freakin The Ohio State University. Sounds like he doesn't have too much......

I don't think these are good stats nor do I think Dolgner's are impressive, outside of the 25 kills. The team didn't hit well, nor did she. But she is just a freshman, playing her first ranked team on the road, so I will give her the benefit of the doubt. You don't have to state the obvious to bring me down... I'm obviously p*ssed off at the results of the match and the inability for the badgers to finish it off. At the same time, they didn't absolutely tank the last three games and for a team that hasn't had to play on the road against much adversity it's ok by me. My comments were more to mock the game of "let's guess the stats because OSU is too cheap to have a real stats system." I get excited about Dolgner's play because she's about as good of a freshman since UW has had since Sherisa Livingston. Granted she probably won't end up as dominant as Sherisa, but she's definitely the type of player who you can sustain a program around for the next several years... a la Simpson, Reineke, Wack, Jeffers, and now Dolgner.
