Lets all keep our fingers crossed and hope Keefe's injury is not that serious. . . .
So the question I have now is, what does Shoji do on Friday with NMSU? What would the starting lineup look like? Does he call and have Blood fly in for the Friday match?

Does he call and have Blood fly in for the Friday match? Yes, gotta pray for Keefe man. The Wahine will be down to five attackers on the travel roster. Ayyaa. Well, I highly doubt Shoji will fly up Blood since the travel is horrible and there is only one match, but I can guarentee that she will be on the travel roster if Keefe's injury is serious and she will be seeing increased playing time. As far as the lineup, Kaufman starts. That's pretty much it. Woolford still comes in to play defense for the right side. Umm ... depth changes though. Blood and Thurlby will have to take more reps, Blood in the middle and Thurlby on the right. Shoot, Duggins may also have to practice, just in case. Goodness ...

I don't think Blood travelled. Shoji might have stupidly taken just 11 players again. Talk about getting bitch-slapped back to reality.
If Blood was not with the original travel roster, then it's possible that she could fly in for the NMSU match.
hwnstunner, I once again agree with you. I wanted Blood to see playing time but not like this. I hope Keefe's injury is not serious. With one of my favorites down, I hope my other two favorites, Gregory and Thurlby, stay healthy for the rest of the season.

I thought I heard they were traveling with only 11; Juliana Sanders, Kari Gregory, Jamie Houston, Kanoe Kamana`o, Raeceen Woolford, Sarah Mason, Amber Kaufman, Jessica Keefe, Cayley Thurlby, Elise Duggins, Jayme Lee

The Wahine are one starter away from ... ahh, don't even want to think about it.

Keefe still layed out on the floor, trainers putting a brace on her left knee Sealy on air now saying that it could be something with her knee, but can't elaborate due to the school's idiot policy about injuries. LOL! Did he really say "idiot policy"? ;D (Sorry, I couldn't resist) I hope Jessica's injury isn't serious. When I spoke with Caroline on Sunday, she said she didn't think she was traveling. Who knows? She might get the emergency call to meet the team in Las Cruces on Friday.

Nice to see their hitting percentage increase from game to game. Didn't set the middles too much; I guess that's because of the shaky passing. Well, at least they got out of there with the "W" and did it in 3 and in less than 90 minutes. Hopefully, they can get a good night's rest before they travel tomorrow and then get another good night's rest before the game on Friday. And, hopefully, they'll have Jessica and/or Caroline available on Friday.

During the broadcast Scott Robbs did say that the team looked to be sleepwalking through the match, especially the first game and that they looked tired. They had 13 hitting errors in the first game and still won.
I don't know how they do it considering they left yesterday night and flew for 8 hours. I wonder if some of the players have trouble sleeping on airplanes. I know I can't do it, and if it were me I would be a zombie the next day. (I hate long plane rides BTW)
Scott did say that Keefe's injury looked serious, so she probably won't play on Friday, let's hope as others have said that it's nothing long term though. It was weird though, at first Scott said it looked like she broke her leg, and I guess Mike Sealy overheard his broadcast and starting yelliing to Scott, no!, no!, so that's when he came on for his short interview. I guess we shouldn't pretend to be a physician when we're not.
Oh well just get some rest, luckily they don't play tomorrow, originally the schedule for these two games was back to back on Thurs, and Fri.

The stats say that 736 is a record attendance for La Tech... does that make sense?
