UH wins game four -23 and the match by three games to one. The Wahine scored six straight points to win the game.

NOTE: CHANGE OF TIME -- 6:00 PM Start Time instead of 7:00 pm -- Ya know, I used to hate double-headers... they are starting to grow on me. I might be a little late, depending on how well we are able to review the video tape to find the bastards that stole my wife's bicycle. I predict no-contest win by Hawaii, however, they may drop a game. However... if Notre Dame becomes a strong blocking and savvy tipping team like they did for a stretch in last night's match... well, Hawaii can respond, let's see how well they do. GO RAINBOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Couldn't you have predicted a sweep? Good win by the Wahine, now they have a much deserved break.

Couldn't you have predicted a sweep? Good win by the Wahine, now they have a much deserved break. I was thinking the same thing towards the end of game 3. It was odd to me. I like Notre Dame's potential... they've quite a lot of it and some very solid players. I think they need more time on the court together, but they'll definitely be in the top 25 in the next few years.

I missed all of game one and most of game 2, but I found video of the guy who stole my girl's bike!
The stats will NOT be pretty, however, Sarah and Jaime Houston each had 21+ kills... they probably had 10-errors each, but hey... game 3 was hard, Hawaii looked tired.
They deserve the 10-day break until they face my Idaho Vandals!!!!!!!!! I-D-A-H-O! Idaho! Idaho! GO! GO! GO!

They hit over .300 in the first two games, but the errors really piled up in the last two as fatigue set in. The 7 matches in 11 days was just brutal, they definitely could use the rest. Some stats from gametracker: Houston 21-13-59 .136 Mason 22-6-50 .320

notre dame actually listed the game as a 3-0 loss on its schedule/results page, so when i was reading this thread i was thinking, why is everyone saying nd won game three?

I really liked the way Duggins played tonight. She has great hands and loads of potential. She should see more playing time and I don' t mean just as Houston's backup in the backrow. She was a little inconsistent early in the season but it looks like she's ready to start in place of Woolford.

But Woolford has been doing well defensively the past few matches recently. On another note, I'd love to see either Woolford and Duggins getting set from the backrow.
