10-5 and the team is 7-0-8 in hitting. Cumpston's back over .360.

Jones now at 10-1-14 .643. They've taken a block away from her, however.
14-5

Iowa got back to 17-13, helped by some UM errors. It's now 20-14 and Iowa still only has 4 kills for the game.
22-16 and still only the 4 kills.
Jones with 12 kills in 17 swings.

Megan Schipper the only bright spot, offensively, for Iowa -- 6-1-16.
KBow 6-0-11, 8 digs.

It's 28-20. Iowa has 5 kills and Minnesota has 6 errors. That's 9 points unaccounted for. Aces and service errors?
Beats me.

Schmidt is playing. Nelson didn't look well against Wisconsin. I wonder what's up. Wasn't she ill earlier this year? I think the Nebraska tourney.

30-23.
I looked at the gameflow. The Gophers must have had 6 SEs that game.

MN wins game 2, 30-23. Late run by Iowa got them into hitting positive for the game. 7-6-31 .032 for the game.

They have 6 aces and 9 errors for the match -- a more than decent ratio. Very good actually.

Stats can be so deceiving.
Gophers hit 17-7-42 in game 1 and 20-6-38 in game 2. The difference is .238-.368 for extra points in 4 less swings. Not sure that's an accurate picture of the 2 games (the hitting %s).

Iowa still hasn't had a run of more than 2 service points in the match. Good job of siding out by the Gophers. Meanwhile, Hartmann had another run (4pts) and Peniata and Tan each had one of 3.
