From today... At least Tennessee fans can look forward to men's and women's hoops if volleyball season doesn't work out the way they want it to. Bruce Pearl runs an exciting style, and Candace Parker is one of the very few women's hoops players I would be excited to watch play. From last year... I don't think UT will have much fun in State College, but the Lunatics could turn their attention to hoops as an interlude between volleyball seasons. I would gladly pay to watch Candace Parker play; I finally got to see her on tv yesterday, and she is big time. Also, men's hoops should get a lot more exciting there with Bruce Pearl around. They might be good this year, and just wait until he gets a few more players in who were recruited to play his system of (somewhat) controlled chaos... Hopefully Bucky's "look forward to basketball" posts are some kind of lucky reverse jinx... 1 for 1 so far... And yes, it's sad that i actually remembered his post from a year ago...

Where is TC Cincy. It seems the only thing that matches his love of the Vols, is his disdain for the Kats." No way Kentucky wins in Knoxville" Evidently he can't type with his foot in his mouth. LOL. Skin is the man! Yes, because it's not like Tennessee winning was popular opinion or anything... Tennessee won't get swept by Kentucky...unfortunately. Kentucky is not the same team on the road that they are home. They are 1-5 in league play on the road. UT wins in 4... Clearly TDCincy must have a mighty powerful anti UK bias to think UTK would win...

This team is looking more and more like the "flash in the pan" team that BiK and I predicted they would be.

i think if UT can get a leader out of that bunch then they can make a strong push for this season, but untill then i don't think they can beat the tough teams. Hopefully next season one of their younger kids will step up and become that leader...

I didn't even remember my post from last year. Still, Candace Parker is very, very good. Also, her older brother, Anthony, who led Bradley to the NCAAs in 1996, is starting for the Raptors after coming back from starring overseas the last few years.
