I know that they're gonna be ready for us but guaranteed we'll be ready as well. I'd give anything in the world to be there in person to watch it!! I say it goes to 5. Anything? For about $800 you could probably do it. Yeah - n sleep in the car LOL. Next year we'll be there for sure. I'm already saving up my pennies for a nice mini-vacation in the islands. I've never been.

For about $800 you could probably do it. I was just curious and looked up flights to Honolulu on Expedia. About $425 round-trip from El Paso. Interesting connecting flights too - like El Paso/Phoenix/Lihue/Honolulu (America West), or El Paso/Atlanta/??/Honolulu (Delta). You'd think that going that far in the wrong direction would cost beaucoup bucks to the airlines. There's something to be said for living near a major airport. So IB - how the heck to you get back to Moscow on a semi-regular basis?

Wonder what Florida did to lose points this week? Stupid poll. Typically at this point there is no change in relative ranking, but I think more of the voters start to cast their lots with a specific Final Four result in mind, meaning points creep ever so slightly to the top few positions, meaning they are leached ever so slightly from the 8-15 range. Has anyone ever noticed that leached and leeched are homonyms AND synonyms?

So IB - how the heck to you get back to Moscow on a semi-regular basis? Ha. Regular basis? Haven't been there in 11-months. This next trip, I'll be going through Seattle to Spokane, an easy trip, but I have a 6-hour layover both ways. Many times, I go through LA, and sometimes Seattle or Portland to connect to Spokane. Once you get to Spokane, its a 1.5 hour drive, too. If I were still single, mbrooks, I'd offer to let you stay with me, but my wife wouldn't love it. You can borrow my tent!

I think its great for the WAC that there are two similarly ranked teams. Let's hope this upcoming match is worthy of such a close ranking... they are always the most fun to watch.

so how does minnesota lose 3-1 to unrank michigan and drop only 1 notch in the polls? It's the phenomenon widely expressed by (R)uffda and known as the West Coast Bias. Minnesota is the Big 10 team closest to the Pacific Ocean. (Trust me, it ain't Iowa City.)

This might be one of those losses that voters just don't know what to do with, especially in light of how MN has been playing recently ... so perhaps voters chose to ignore it.

Fans have been waiting while for this -- to see another WAC team step up and challenge HI. I'd like to see a WAC team consistently do it, and find a regular seat in the national rankings. It only makes the whole conference stronger. Should be a good matchup on Sunday !! Get ready to NMSU to our house this time around...

I'm a little suprised at MN's ranking being 13.....but I guess they did lose to a team that was ranked for the first part of the season and it was on the road. The Big Ten is tough on the road as Penn State found out last week......
Way to Go NMSU!! I'd love to see you take down Hawaii again:-)

Minnesota dropped 82 points. You want West Coast bias? California lost -- again -- and jumps past Minnesota.
But tell me, please: the Gophers were at 817 points, Cal at 795. Purdue was at #14 with 728 points, but they lost twice. San Diego was at 593 points and lost to unranked Pepperdine. Just who exactly was it that you wanted to gain over 200 points and move past Minnesota? Oklahoma? They lost. BYU? They lost. Hawaii? They came damned close.
