I know... this is so frustrating! Actually a loud Redondo crowd could be pretty annoying, too.

You can bet Redondo Beach High is going nuts. A sea of red foaming at the mouth for another upset. This is their Super Bowl.
After Saturday's matches some of them drove over to MCHS to see if they were going to play MCHS on Tuesday. Turns out a couple of the players on Redondo's team actually live in Manhattan Beach, but transferred to go into Redondo's VB program. They all know each other very well.
Another sidenote from Saturday. We talked to a Santa Barbara HS parent (MC's opponent on Saturday night), and she mentioned that she was shocked to find out that MCHS was public school. I'm assuming because most of the really successful VB programs are usually private schools?

Hey, Hawtdog,
How's the weather in Penn? We were spoiled by an Indian Summer now it has been in the 50s the latest couple of nights. Our thin blood can't take it!

I've seen Costa play against a team with a CRAZY booster contingent. I'm sure it pumped up their team, but Costa had great focus and intensity. Let's hope they can continue to shut out the crowd... even if the MC fans can't!

What is happening in Game Three? Can you visualize us all hunkered down in front of our computers, JTawa, breathlessly waiting for your next tidbit?

Thanks, Jtawa! GatorVball! This is the greatest game I never saw. I heard that MC was dying to play Redondo again. MCHS must have played a lot better this time.
Goodnight, Hawtdawg!
MC in three, I can dig that!

Beachtitan--What do you mean "good night?" Time to celebrate and savor this win... as well as wait pathetically at my laptop waiting for tidbits about the match.
Well done, Mira Costa!
