What a load of crap. A million excuses why their is no fan loyalty. Traffic?? Come on. Some NU fans drive 6 hours to a game. Too many choices of matches, universities, etc? You have 1000 times the populaiton of most places in America. Lets cut to the chase. NO FAN LOYALTY !!

Which team, sport, school, etc. should LA fans be "loyal" to, when there are a dozen teams, schools, sports, to choose from on any given night?

and....so...... Are you telling me that Californians do not have the capability of picking a favorite team??? Noooo....it's just that they spend too much time eating quiche, buying designer sunglasses, reading the trade dailys, roller skating, and attending self improvement workshops to ever find time to attend their favorite team's home games. Just ask Al Davis what he thinks of the typical Southern California fan.

Last time I thought I wanted to go to a UCLA match, I absentmindedly spent three hours searching for the perfect pair of sunglasses.

You forgot other ways people in LA are too busy to attend vball matches...chasing after Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, and wondering around Beverly Hills and Hollywood hoping to catch the eyes of the casting directors.

and....so...... Are you telling me that Californians do not have the capability of picking a favorite team??? But half of the people that live in california are transplants from other states.. Why would i go to a UCla match when iam a die Ohio state fan. Have you ever watched a pro team in LA ?? most of the people arrive an hour after the game has started.. in most states people line up to get to the game. Simple fact that LA fans just have too many things to do and most people show up to these games so that they can be seen in there new porche. or there armani outfits.

What a load of crap. A million excuses why their is no fan loyalty. Traffic?? Come on. Some NU fans drive 6 hours to a game. But do they drive thru rush hour traffic everyday to go from OC to LA. People dont realize how living in LA is hectic. Who would want to drive thru rish hr traffic after work ? Too many choices of matches, universities, etc? You have 1000 times the populaiton of most places in America. Then there are 1000 times more people in the road. Most of these people are transplants trying to make it big in Hollywood. Why would they care if UCLA is playing when they are Buckeye fans Lets cut to the chase. NO FAN LOYALTY !!

I'm also a Big Ten graduate so I can hardly be expected to follow or be loyal to any California team. The traffic is murder.

I used to wear sunglasses until I realized they were the folly of youth. So, I gave them away to a common street beggar in Palo Alto.
