guess UH is not going to be the 4th place team. Predict 4 = CSUN, 5 = Waves, 6 = UH

Yes, Thomas was all-america last year as a middle.
Hawaii hit .071 in game 5 Irvine hit .389 in game 5
No full stats yet.
This win for Irvine keeps pace with Stanford. They both have 6 wins. They are both trying to obtain the final playoff spot.
Pepperdine and CSUN both won tonight. Hawaii now falls to #6. Pepperdine and CSUN are tied still for #4.

at first I thought that HI should split the matches with the Waves, but after tonight's game... I think maybe Pepp will win both. First one in 4, then the next in 5

so if the Waves and CSUN were to win the rest, who would be #4? CSUN or Waves... I think they split their series

They are celebrating the seniors and the announcer is trying to do a play by play of the dancing. Sorry, I am not going to try to relay it, but they are having fun.
Some Final Stats: Hawaii hit .273 for the night Irvine hit .246 for the night
For Hawaii: Azenha had 23 kills Bender had 18 kills
For Irvine: Pelzel had 30 kills Jablonsky had 19 kills
Hawaii had 6 service aces and 6 errors Irvine had 4 service aces and 23 errors
Hawaii had 36 digs Irvine had 24 digs
Sorry, I did not get the blocking stats
Judging from the stats, Hawaii should have won the match! Look at the service errors for Irvine! That is what killed them last night. They were able to put enough game together to pull out the win tonight.

wow! Hawaii still lost although they got so many free points from the serves!!! Ok...I am a UH fan, but if Hawaii can still lose with that many service errors from the opposing team, then they really did not deserve to win despite what the stats may say.

I believe if CSUN and Pepperdine end up tied with wins/losses Pepperdine would win the tiebreaker. CSUN beat Pepperdine in 5, but Pepperdine beat CSUN in 4. I think Pepperdine would take #4 because they won in the least amount of games.
CSUN holds the tiebreaker with Hawaii in case Hawaii ends up tied with CSUN. CSUN won both matches.

So the MPSF tourney is probably going to be #1 BYU, #2 LBSU #3 UCLA, #4 CSUN (I am still hopeful that UH will splite with waves). #5 Pepperdine, #6 UH, #7 UCSB, #8 UCI/Stanford/UOP

Did I answer all your questions? I tried to keep up with your questions while I was doing the play by play.
