It looks like your pretty much correct with your final MPSF standings (if Hawaii and Pepperdine split). #8 though I think is pretty much Stanford and Irvine battling it out. They both have 6 wins with two games to go. Irvine plays UCSB and CSUN Stanford plays Pacific twice
Teams with 4 wins are Pacific - they play Stanford twice USC - they play BYU twice UCSD - one match left against Long Beach

I guess then in that case, Stanford has the edge...I would rather wish UH being 5th or 7th than 6. they would probably want revenge more against CSUN or Beach more than UCLA

I'd like to make a couple comments on senior night.
First, fun presentation by Vili and his sons. They did a dance for the seniors, and then a hula dancer came in and danced with all the seniors, and then the coaches.
I was SERIOUSLY falling over laughing watching coach Wilton dance! If you can see it sometime, do!
Next, UC Irvine was a serious class act tonight, even in victory. They stayed and gave a standing ovation to each of the UH seniors. I like this team a lot, they seemed scared and intimidated at first, but after tonight, all those freshmen starters will not be again in Hawaii! Talented kids!
I was dissapointed in UH's loss, but thought the seniors still had an amazing send off, as usual. Like I commented on the women's side (and Leahy said a few times on the broadcast): Only in Hawaii!

to vbfan4life - I am a fan of volleyball. Not just Hawaii or any one team. I enjoy a good game.
to IdahoBoy - thanks for the eye witness view. I listened to the description and they were laughing as they were describing it, but I am sure it did not do it justice. Also, I like Irvine and their attitude. I am sure they were very supportive. John Speraw is a great supporter of volleyball and he is a class act. The fact that they stayed and cheered for the seniors does not surprise me at all. Watch out for Irvine in the future. I believe they will continue to improve.

I agree with UCI continuing to improve, but hopefully it will be UH's year next year. Bender and Azenha as OH, Reft as Libero, LaBarre and Thomas in middle, Beckwith as setter, I am not sure who the other 2 would be though

Hawaii does have a good group returning. I think they will challenge next year also.
Irvine has 3 freshmen starting this year I believe. And I have heard that they did some pretty good recruiting. I am not saying next year, but I think they will continue to improve. Let's not forget that they took 4th last year in the playoffs (I think it was fourth).
