Will this be the year that Nebraska finally gets the title after a long wait?

Yes. Sarah will NOT allow them to lose.

I think the odds are in their favor. ++ They're not facing the best Pac-10 teams until they make it to Omaha. ++ Even on Florida's court they'd be favored to beat any of the opponents there. ++ Home Court Advantage. ++ Experience. They were in last year's final four, so they know what it's like, and they lost last year's final four, which is a fact that can really help them to focus.

They would only need to win against 1 or 2 Pac10 teams in Nebraska with the home court advantage.

They got more help from the Committee than any team in the entire draw....plus they get the finals at home......if they don't win it all, it will go down as a major failure for them.....a little pressure there Nebraska??

No one puts more pressure on the Huskers than themselves. Probably too much. Given the inconsistencies of the Pac 10 teams this year when playing on the road I really really like Nebraska's chances if they make it to Omaha!!

I voted yes, but I'm not so sure. I think they'll get to the Final Four, but the crowd may be overhyped for the Final Four for them not to play tight.

I am concerned that we will have a bunch of newbie VB fans there who won't know the rules and Husker Volleyball protocol but I guess they did handle it pretty well for the AVCA Showcase last year so it should OK.

Poking fun at Nebraska is so easy, because they have that American Breadbasket inability to poke fun at themselves. But in all seriousness, having seen the way they executed against Texas I believe their #1 overall seed is no fluke or gift.

I think this year most of the top 10 teams are pretty closed to each other and any could win it all if they get hot or catch the teams they play a bit off. I think the Huskers have the best chance of any of them to win it all, however, since there are so many teams that could win it, the odds are really against them to do it.
I sense that they don't really feel as much "pressure" to win it as last year which should give them a better chance to play at their best. If they get that far, Stanford in the Finals scares me the most.
