OK, I've found Heather Cox a little irritating in the past but didn't know what all the fuss was about on this thread. So my friend and I played a little drinking game. In Game 3 of the match Ms Cox mentioned a Stanford players name 22 times (half Barboza) and a Nebraska players name 12 times. Guess who had Stanford. I am drunk.

it was great that year when those two doofs called the Gators suspect, and hawai'i'i'i propmtly went out and lost to them in the national semifinals. I normally can't tolerate a Hawaii loss but that year was an exception just for the sheer joy of witnessing a certain someone have a complete nervous breakdown online. And to think I saw it all unfold for free! you feeling ok these days?

Was HC even a good player? I know she played in a FF we hear it a million times a night when she is on. Was she on the court? Was she good? What years did she play?

I am estactic I don't have to listen to how an inferior Washington team upset Nebraska last year for the 100th time. They weren't inferior, Heather, get with it!

Be careful who you wish for...you may get Rosie O'Donnell instead of HC, fox.

Heather just needs to start talking to the knowledgeable vb fan when she's doing the color. That would make a 100% difference.

And that's why Karch and McPeak were better. Why Sunderland was better.
Marlowe was play-by-play. Apples to oranges.

I love the way Karch and McPeak commentate the game. At least they do not show their obvious bias towards either side.

Be careful who you wish for...you may get Rosie O'Donnell instead of HC, fox. Rosie would probably at least study the (current) rules to be able to know what's happening on the court when calls are made (or not made.)

I have heard from a lot of guys, especially non-volleyball fans, that see her for the first time, that they don't care what she says, they just like looking at her. In the championship game, I could have swore that I heard Beth Mowins call her Hedder.

The announcers have serious Dickie V syndrome. They practically ignore the actual match and instead spend the whole time going off on random tangents and fluff pieces. Just terrible...
