I don't have access to prepvb so I can't read the article, but someone talked about Stephanie Ferrell and Hawaii. I googled her name and I found out she is already a senior. I don't think she would come to Hawaii unless she was walking on as they don't have any scholarships for next year. How can you feel good about a player you know nothing about? This news makes me feel...nothing. Because I don't know anything about her. Is she the next Sarah Mason? Or the next Tanja Nikolic? Or the next Heidi Ilustre? Big differences.

WOW!.....just googled Stephanie Ferrell and found that she plays for Southern Cal vball club under Mick Haley...She looks like the 1-2 punch that Hawai'i needs in another Kim W. and Jamie Houston.................exciting and can't wait..............

Too lazy too..........just look SVCB 17's...........They show her killing the ball from the 10 foot line.......She's like 6'2 strong built too.....

99. Stephanie Ferrell, 6-0 OH, Manual Arts (Los Angeles CA), SCVC -- Uncommitted
A relative newcomer to volleyball, Ferrell is a tremendous athlete whose best volleyball years are ahead of her. She plays with great intensity and joy. She has discovered an outlet in volleyball from a challenging personal life and it shows in the attitude she brings to the court. Others may first notice the sound of the ball after Ferrell hits it. The velocity the ball travels at after a Ferrell swing usually frightens her opponents. Heavily recruited by the Big Ten, Pac-10 and Hawaii, Ferrell remains uncommitted at this time.

Thanks for the information  She sounds like a lot of the Hawaii recruits....fairly new to volleyball with a lot of potential. Can't wait to see her in action. |
