I know... I know.... it is only one tournament, but does anyone think the trend of having two, big, all-around players will be the winning scenario on the beach?
Love that Ross and Boss did so well. Sad that Tom and McPeak couldn't even win one game.
Congrats to Young and Branagh!

go bruins, I acknowledge much of your post, but to say Andy "developed" Nellie Spicer is pretty far off base, she was a two time MVP in jr ball and was developed by SPRI. I would imagine that in terms of training her, Andy just gets out of the way (as any good coach would). I am not a Gimillaro fan by any stretch, but he certainly has a stronger reputation than Andy in terms of developing players. Having said, that he also has a stronger reputation for ruining players. Andy is a strong coach for sure, but developing raw players into all-americans is not really his track record. Yeah, I was debating whether or not I should mention Spicer, but she was an All-American. My point was more about Katie Carter and Nana Meriwether, who were not highly-regarded junior players, yet developed into All-Americans at UCLA.
