I'm not sure the LeBron coparison is necessarily a good thing. LeBron is extremely talent, however, he's now in his 4th year with the NBA - No championships in his first 3 years and no real likelyhood of getting one this season. If Alix's results with Stanford is the same it would mean no Cardinal championships for the next 4 years.

Did anyone think he would have a ring with Cleveland by his fourth year? When did Jordan win his first? I would say as absurd as his billing was, he has lived up to it. Klineman (or anyone else for that matter) can at best hope to live up to that comparison

I, for one, am surprised Samford was able to recruit a player of this caliber. Sure, she couldn't break a window with a sledgehammer, but she still gots skills. Plus, she's 6'10" and you know what they say: you can't coach. Seriously, you cannot coach.
As for Lube James, I thought someone would have proposed by now, yes.

You can't nix the LeBron/Klineman comparison (even tho I think it's lame) by comparing Stanford with the Cavs. Stanford is a college university that practically every top player chooses, while the Cavs are a mid-level club in the NBA that acquires players through a draft system. Your dismissal of the comparison suggests that it's LeBron James's fault that the Cavs haven't won.

anyone who uses the word "methinks" needs to stop reading the doof manual.
ak is a friend of mine, so shut the bleep up.

While you're here, I'd like to put in a request for "Foolish Games" or "You Were Meant for Me".

He (the prognosticator) also gaurantee's Stanford will win at least one national championship while Alix plays. (actually say's whoever gets her as this was before she made her choice) I hope between CSTV & ESPN U, or 2, I get to see her play. I'm thinking she'll have a Pavanesque impact and if someone can fill the void left by Richards, Stanford is going to be very very very hard to beat.
