Out of order, keystonekid! This is what Hawaiivb said: "I can still remember the Nebraska Hawai'i match a few years back. Hawai'i travels to Nebraska and some how take them down at home. Talk about unreal. "
Nothing about that game was unreal. Prior to the last two years, Hawaii had been superior to Nebraska. Only last year Nebraska pulled ahead and now threatens to leave Hawaii far behind. But this year, Hawaii will have a much better team, even better than the last one that went to the final four. SO the Nebraska/Hawaii match will be this year's biggie.

Honestly, I think this coming season will be more of a development season than anything. There are too many new faces and the setting is a huge iffy. Passing will be better, guaranteed, with the addition of Liz and Aneli. However, I think all of us Rainbow Wahine fans have taken Kamanao's setting for granted. Mafua is no Kamanao and it won't be long before the fans take notice of it. I think the 2008 team looks really promising - more chemistry and DI ball experience for the freshmen.

SO the Nebraska/Hawaii match will be this year's biggie. The last time Hawaii beat Nebraska at Nebraska was in 2002. I more than vividly recall Hawaii losing to Nebraska a year before that (2001) in the NACWAA; and a year before that (2000) in the Final Four. Before then, the last time the Wahine played Nebraska was in the middle 90's (if memory serves me correct- not sure if I can remember whether they won or loss that match). Nevertheless the fact that you wrote "Prior to the last two years, Hawaii had been superior to Nebraska. Only last year Nebraska pulled ahead" has no truth to it. . Makes no sense, just like every other one of your posts. For you, unless you checked the facts before posting, it's best to stick to the usual posts of "hawaii is the best team all time." OK.

you stalk me a lot, don't you, aaron the baron. If you want to remain on my %*$# list. you're are doing ok. Last year had Nebraska won its 3rd National title. Hawaii won 4 titles altogether. If you do a complete analysis of titlles won, final 4 appearances, etc., you will find that Stanford is still #1, followed by UCLA, and only last year did Nebraska went ahead of hawaii by a slight margin.

I should add that if you go only by win/loss records, Hawaii is better than UCLA. I think Hawaii has an advantage over Stanford too. (if I'm wrong, I stand corrected).

Is Natalie Riedman still at Nebraska ? I hear she's the brains behind Husker volleyball.

First, I'm not sure how you can call my criticisms/posts "stalking." Second, I honestly have no idea what any part of your above post has to do with my reply to your post on how Hawaii has been superior to Nebraska prior to the last two years- which I guess validates one my points in regards to you. ?

my whole point to the Nebraska and Texas matches were to show that Hawai'i were under dogs even if slightly. However, when many people wrote them off, they prevailed. Even looking at last years' win over USC. You would think on paper at least. The teams that are landing the marque players and I mean loaded with them, should be dominating teams with so called lesser talent. I do feel that given the disadvantage Hawai'i has over say Nebraska, Texas and Stanford when it comes to recruiting the creme, they somehow go further than most critics would have envision. That is what I love about them. Despite the snubs lately and the long traveling just to get to play in a first or second round match because of the new NCAA take on economics, they truly have gone further than expected. And for that I think 2007 will be a better situation.

So where is Kelly Ong? Also not mentioned was Amber Kaufman. You guys think she'll start at opposite or will Keefe get it back? Or maybe one of the new girls.
