It is allowed to appear in print media - so look for quotes on your volleyball's web site or local paper?

Nice to see that MN has the top recruiting class in the B10. Hopefully, this will help the Gophers get over the top in the conference. Maybe not this year but in 08 and 09. If one judges by tournament accomplishment, the Gophers are already there. They have two recent Final Fours on their resume... more than Penn State or Wisconsin, this season's regional hosts, can claim... and they looked better against Nebraska last season than Penn State did against Washington. If the Gophers had been sent to the Seattle regional, I think they would have made their third Final Four.

For WAC fans Hawai'i #19 Utah State Honorable Mention. Pretty good for Hawaii considering that doesn't include the transfers Hawaii is getting next year. 08 looks good too with Herring.

... If the Gophers had been sent to the Seattle regional, I think they would have made their third Final Four. Sounds like wishful thinking to me. [What do you mean biased? Me???] ;D Seriously, the gophers acquitted themselves well in the tournament, but if "getting over the top" means winning the conference, that's going to be a tall order this year. But things like making the final four or taking up permanent residence in the top 10 could well happen.

I am not paying 25 bucks for one small piece of information. Cheapskate.

I'm surprised by some of the smaller schools on the list, such as a Dayton, etc. Kudos to a conference like the SoCon with both College of Charleston (Dunbar's last class) and a small, under 2000 student school like Davidson getting mentioned. Kudos to your "kudos."

I would bet most athletes would care more about getting to a Final Four than winning conference. Minnesota's senior class has proven to be one of the best when it is said and done, because of their strong postseason play and all of the seniors played a huge role in the three Elite Eights and two Final Four showings.

Minnesota will miss the four fantastic seniors who graduate, but it may be time to shine for the junior class that entered the program with so much promise. The Big Ten will be a real meat-grinder next fall.

I don't think that Class of 2000 (Busse, Lorenzen, Wicks?) and the Class of 2001 (Vanderwell (Taatjes), Martin, Cipperly (Hoekensen), Freiborg) which were the seniors that took MN to the final four were highly ranked recruiting classes, were they?

No. Only Martin and Frieborg were ranked players, and Freiborg played only three or four points before tearing her ACL. Busse was incredibly raw. Hebert did an incredible job growing these players.

...which is why it's going to be so exciting to see how he does with this un-raw freshman class, which has such a big head start.

who is stanford getting besides the #1 recruit in the nation Their recruiting class includes Alix Klineman. Cassidy Lichtman, a setter/right side who also is known for her defense. She was the California Div IV MVP, an all american, and is a current member of the Junior National Team. Stephanie Browne, a 6-5 middle blocker, who also was a member of the Youth and Junior national teams at some point along the line. Gabi Ailes (libero), sister to libero Tatem Ailes from Missouri. Tatem has become known as one the top liberos in the country collegiately...however, many have said Gabi is at a much higher level than her sister was at that age.

If I'm interpreting John's post correctly regarding disclosure of his recruiting class ranking information, one of you is free to tell at what number Michigan found itself. So . . . ? (And thanks in advance).
