Gorf said: It's also ironic to me that Minnesota's Brook Dieter is doing better stat-wise in almost every category than Alix against at least comparable teams and both being left side attackers. I fail to see the irony. Dieter isn't even in the PAC 10! Neither is Stanford -- yet. It's preseason, and so far Stanford's played non-conference teams. Uh, Gorf, was that a trick statement? You said Dieter was doing better in "almost" every category. Is there one where she's doing worse? Did I miss it on first reading? "As well or better in every category" may be a mouthful, but if it's true.... When I was first looking at the stats for both it looked liked there were 1-2 that were in favor of Alix. When I started entering the stats for each into one of my spreadsheet for comparing performance last season that turned out not to be the case. There aren't aren't huge difference between the two on most stats, both has shown to be very good (or excellent) players to this point in their respetive careers.

Alex is a good player ! But I don't think she will never be a good player as Logan at Stanford !! Logan was a 4 time 1st team all american !! Not even ogonna could make 4 times 1st team all american

First of all, I hate it when people compare players, Logan is Logan. And I'm sure by the end of her eligibility at Stanford, Alix will leave a big mark in the record books herself. So, it is fair to say that Kerri Walsh was even better than Tom, Barboza, and Klineman? Give the damn kid a break!!!

I fail to see the irony. Dieter isn't even in the PAC 10! Ohmigod, I'm glad you 'splained that to me. Here I thought she had been doing quite well, but I hadn't realized that was all tainted because she wasn't in the Pac 10. I'm really glad you pointed that out, otherwise I would still be laboring under the misconception that she was actually performing pretty well. I'm sorry I opened my mouth. I'm not anti-Big 10, anti-Gopher, or anti-Dieter. I wasn't knocking it or putting it down. I was just saying it as a fact only a PAC 10 team member can be PAC 10 POW and it's true more for the PAC 10 than the Big 10. I'm not saying that the PAC 10 is better or greater, or comparing the PAC 10 with Jesus Christ as a conference or God as a thing or whatever it is. I just said what I said and it was wrong. Or it was taken wrong.

"Effective Pints / Game"? They have beer drinking stats now? It's all about hidration. If players don't stay hidrated well enough their performance is likely to deteriorate. I hear it also affects the ability to spell.

Nah.
The various medicines and medical procedure I need to go through on a regular basis might result in spelling / typing errors though.
Probably doesn't have a significant effect though since I've been fully capable of spelling errors / typos for years before the new meds and such we're prescribed this year.
You, OTOH appear to have some form of conjunctivitis - I hope you find a cure.

I remember in the 90's they called Fokle the "recruit of the decade" and then someone joked and said "what does that make Kerri Walsh...recruit of the century".....
Is Klineman the recruit of this decade?...Looking at all the top recruits that came out this Millenium...Barboza, Ladd, Klineman, Richards, Saleaumua, Nnamani, Ross, Pavan....who is the Recruit of the decade so far?
