I'm sure that is partially why Cook has been working with it several times this season.

Anyone else think we'll see a situational 6-2 when Faucette starts pounding balls over Holloway? It won't matter if Larson and Pavan are hitting their jumpers right, and Holloway/Houghtelling get good drops on their floaters. Out of system, the Longhorns struggle to find the court.

It wil be tough for Texas. Nebraska is a team that Texas doesn't out-size or out-athlete. I think in the end, Nebraska's big block will frustrate the Texas hitters. I'd love Texas see play at a very high level in the most hostile environment they face each year, but this team hasn't quite got it altogether this early in the season. The most hostile enviroment Texas plays at is in College Station against a&m. Their crowds stand and yell the entire match down to the last point. Maybe when A&M fields a competitive team. Still, average attendance in CS when Texas visits probably doesn't reach 1,000 folks compared withe 4,000+ in Lincoln . . .

Last year they had 3,555 and in 2005 3,509. They always get up for any competition against the Horns. www.aggieathletics.com/index2.php?SID=WVB&pageID=166

Hooker not playing tonight. Apparently suspended for 1 game for "breaking team rules with regards to academics." Should turn this match into a blowout.

I don't think I'll even bother watching... Texas will probably play with them closely but Nebraska will win. That "gym" is awful for TV volleyball and the crowd is so depressingly quiet for a top ten match up.

Hey, pretty entertaining match. Everybody was AMP'd way up in the beginning, but still some great plays.
15-11 NU, media TO.

NU has HUGE crowds, so you would think that there'd be a ton of noise!

Anytime Nebraska gets a point, it gets very loud, and if it truely is a close match, and the crowd senses that Nebraska's in trouble, they get VERY loud.
