Is the following true:
OH1 -- Aneli Cubi-Otineru OH2 -- Jamie Houston MB1 -- Juliana Sanders MB2 -- Amber Kaufman S -- Stephanie Brandt L -- Liz Ka'aihue
The big change is Aneli at OH1 and Jamie at OH2. Amber will be the middle, for now, over Kari Gregory.
An "insider" sent this info to me via IM. She also said Dave Shoji was going to mention it on his weekly show but I missed the show. Is it on KKEA 1420 on the Internet?

That sounds right to me, especially Amber at MB2 based on her performance from recent games. But really, Aneli at OH1? Please, she'd be stuffed left and right against the taller, elite teams. There is no one ahead of Houston at UH. Where did this info. come from?

yes, I think it is correct, but not because Aneli has outplayed Houston. I think it's pure strategy.

It did sound like this is the new lineup but its future depends on continued success and stability. He still will not hesitate to make changes if necessary especially with the middles is the message that I got from his radio show.
10 players on this roster are touching 10 feet or more Shoji said today in the press.Houston tops the list at 10'7

Houston is playing the L2 to give them more attacking options when she rotates to the backrow. However, alot of times she is subbed out for Lee since Lee has a better serve. I'm sure they'll be more tweaking of the lineup.

If it were it would make sense, if it i;m not right, can someone please explain what is?

This got me thinking - what are some of the common strategies for determining a team's rotation in a 5-1 system? One thing I seem to recall is wanting to have better attacking options on the left and in the middle for most of the time that the setter is in the front row. Details on this and other strategies would be most helpful.

This is awesome stuff! Now how to make the most of these abilities.

Old news.
He flipped Cubi-Otineru & Houston for the Wichita St game. Thought he would have abandoned it after they lost the first 2 games but coaches seem to be committed to this line-up for now.

If I remember correctly, Lily and Kym flip flopped L1 and L2 positions.

In practically every game this season, Hawaii has been getting slow starts. Perhaps Shoji believes the switch of Aneli to L1 might better solve this problem. It is true Houston is not as consistent and for some reason takes a while before getting hot.

Does anyone know what else was discussed on Shoji's radio show?

Care to guess who among the Wahine can jump at least 10 feet? My guess, Houston, Hittle, Kaufman, Sanders, Mafua, Simmons, Ferrel, and Woolford. I'm not too sure about the last two, maybe Blood and Keefe.

Woolford? If so, she is amazing, only 5'7". What about Aneli?
