Minnesota the highest-ranked team to move up? Michigan the highest-ranked team to slip? Same old, same old. Stanford picked up five first-place votes... if that led to a flood of complaints from the Huskers faithful, would that not also be same old, same old?

Why is UNLV still getting votes?

Looks like UNLV took a beating over the past couple of weeks from the coaches. It will be interesting to see how they hold up in Pablo this week.

Why not? They have risen to their current ranking and haven't lost.

USC and UCLA are still too high. Washington deserves better, for now at least.

Well, I'm guessing they took the bigger hit last week after the loss to SDSU.
This week not so bad because CSU is hanging in there in Pablo (24 last week). With the CSU win, they could essentially trade places. If it goes from there, it will depend on whether Pablo rewards CSU for the win or punishes UNLV for the loss.

USC and UCLA are still too high. Washington deserves better, for now at least. If USC and UCLA are too high why does Washington deserve better? Their non-conference schedule? USC and UCLA did lose points, however.

Why not? They have risen to their current ranking and haven't lost. Sometimes not losing shouldn't constitute a rise in ranking when folks above you lose. It _is_ the ACC... ranking those teams in the top 20 gives them false confidence.

Wow MTSU and Sac St just a few points from being ranked 25th this week!
Hawaii...12th. Why? Oh yea because all the other teams suck too.
What a year for Dayton. Hey if they remain undefeated they just might move up to 10th or 11th! Go Flyers!
San Diego 14th, who would've thunk it? Good for them
Surprised Purdue has no votes.
Miami OH with votes!!
The top 11 seems fine. They seem to be the top 11 teams in the country, right? Who would you place in 12th...13th? 14th? What a wacky year.
Heres a breakdown of conference
Pac 10-6 teams Big 10-4 Big 12-3 Mountain West-2 Big West-1 Big East-1 WAC-2 ACC-1 MAC-1 SEC-2 A10-1 West Coast-1

USC and UCLA are still too high. Washington deserves better, for now at least. Why? Washington's win over LBSU certainly isn't impressive. Nor their wins over cupcakes: Fresno State, CSUN, BSU, Morgan State, UNF, Jacksonville, and New Orleans. Then, they have those impressive wins over Gonzaga, Florida State, and San Francisco. Of their non-conference schedule, I'd be shocked if ANY of those teams make the big dance this year, including LBSU.

Yes, but Duke is a really good team. Who would you rank above them? They took USC to 5. Last year they missed the Sweet 16 by a couple of points in a five gamer. They're a quality team, playing in a not so quality conference. Kind of like Hawaii, Florida, Dayton and San Diego.
